Adrecor is a multivitamin approach to try to combat stress and fatigue. There is a large dose of vitamin C, vitamin B6 and vitamin 12, along with many other vitamins and nutrients included. Thankfully this is a product that actually does contain a number of amino acids such as L-methionine, L-histidine, N-acetyl tyrosine, which are the best of all the ingredients included. These are the keys and help to provide neurotransmitter support to nourish the brain. Unfortunately this product comes with a lot of other ingredients, which are unnecessary and wasteful.
Is Adrecor Right For You?
Adrecor is advertised as a multivitamin supplement specially created to try to combat stress and fatigue. The company behind this supplement is NeuroScience Inc. The company was established in 1999 and is currently located in Osceola, Wisconsin, United States.
According to their website, NeuroScience is a research and education driven company committed to improving human health through the neurological, endocrine and immune systems.
This formula contains a large dose of Vitamin C, Vitamin B6 and Vitamin B12, along with many other important vitamins and nutrients. Beside these important ingredients, Adrecor also contains a number of amino acids such as L-methionide, L-histidine and N-acetyl tyrosine.
Ingredients of Adrecor
Adrecor includes the following ingredients: Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Pantothenic Acid, Niacin, Folate, Magnesium, Zinc Gluconate, L-methionine, L-histidine, N-acetyl tyrosine, EGCG, Rhodiola rosea and Vegetable cellulose.
Effectiveness of Adrecor
As stated above, Adrecor is a combination of vitamins, essential nutrients and amino acids. It is hard to identify the key ingredient in this formulation but it appears to be N-acetyl tyrosine. This amino acid is a precursor to the catecholamines, which includes epinephrine and norepinephrine.
Multiple clinical studies have shown tyrosine to be useful during conditions of stress, fatigue, cold, prolonged work and sleep deprivation, with reductions in stress hormone levels, improvements in cognitive and physical performance and reductions in stress-induced weight loss seen in animal trials. However, tyrosine does not seem to have any significant effect on mood, cognitive or physical performance in normal circumstances.
Adrecor is a mixture of ingredients that tries to cover all bases of the brain supplement spectrum. Unfortunately, this is a common mistake made by many companies, as they try to make a fortune from glorified brain vitamins. The neurotransmitters in our brains are very sensitive and need the exact amino acids found in whole food. Multi vitamins are certainly a healthy option for the modern way of life (considering the food quality these days), but they are not a replacement for supplements with exact amino acids, vitamins and neuro-nutrients that would be found in the nucleus of whole food.
Multi vitamins are unlikely to even penetrate the blood brain barrier so they are, in effect, excreted through the usual bodily means. This renders many multi vitamins almost worthless.
There are also a number of Adrecor ingredients that cause side effects in a number of people. This is something that you need to be very careful of before you try this product (if you want to try it).
As an example, the taurine and theanine are not likely to cause headaches or side effects for most people, but the 5-HTP is likely to be difficult to tolerate for some people. The main issue here is that we don’t know how much of this is in this product.
Adrecor Price
A bottle of Adrecor contains 180 pills, which should be enough for one month of treatment at a recommended dosage of 1 to 3 capsules, 2 times per day.
This supplement is quite expensive compared to other multivitamins. However, some retailers may offer additional discounts and even free shipping for larger orders.
Does Adrecor Work?
Adrecor is manufactured by a company with a good reputation and with a lot of experience in developing brain supplements and multivitamins. This is a good thing. On top of that, this supplement has received many positive reviews and testimonials and its effectiveness is partially supported by several clinical trials and studies conducted by the manufacturer.
Adrecor may be appealing for those who are looking for a good multivitamin supplement. In fact, this supplement is the company’s best seller for adrenal support. However, we recommend our readers to further research into this product before making a final decision.

Customer Reviews
This works quite well for me I think. I have tried a lot of other supplements and this seems to be as good as any of them.
This is just a multivitamin you can find in any health food store. I wouldnt waste my money on it again – it didnt do anything like it claimed.
Adrecor has mega doses of vitamins and stuff, but I didnt see any difference in my mood or performance. I would give it 5/5
it does make me feel better and I use the lowest dose, as needed. I also take this in a daily basis. negative is the price tag and the retaining water
this is very helpful, improves my overall wellbeing from stress.
This product Adrecor is is just an average supplement. I wanted the benefits of better mood and feeling, but I didnt get them. Maybe Ill try another supplement instead.
I have been taking it for 3 weeks and have felt that because of taking this product I can deal with my stress better and deal with my job better as well.
This stuff works very well for me. I think different people have different deficiencies, and if you aren’t deficient where Adrecor is aiming to help you, then it won’t do anything. I suffer from mild depression/fatigue and Adrecor makes a noticeable enough difference to be well worth the price for me. It also helps that I only need one capsule per day, so I get 6 months out of a $50 bottle.
Taking just 1 capsule of Adrecor each morning caused significant side effects for me. Extreme irritability, nervous energy but not able to focus well. My doctor ran lab tests through NeuroScience and N.S. prescribed Adrecor (as well as Calm-PRT in the evenings and Travacor before bed), but this was definitely the wrong solution for me. I feel so much better since I stopped taking it. Travacor caused even more severe side effects for me, although Calm-PRT does seem to help.
Skip all the unnecessary ingredients and drugs. If you are feeling sluggish, moody, low energy, poor focus, brain fog, disconnected with life – try taking only 5-HTP. Other so called supplements do not penetrate the blood brain barrier, 5-HTP does and it gets to the parts of the brain that need help. When your body runs low on dopamine and serotonin (not to be confused with melatonin), you body starts running low on “fuel”. Neurotransmitter imbalances affect up to 75 percent of people. Most doctors prefer to put people on meds that make them walking zombies, when all the doctors have to do is run blood test or urine test on dopamine and other neurotransmitter levels. – Simple test – that’s it.
Stay away from Aspartame (fake sugar) which depletes the dopamine levels more quickly then the body can replenish it.
I went through doctors placing me on all types of meds. A friend suggested her doctor, I went to the doctor, explained how I felt, the doc did some simple blood test and urine test and what do you know…
my neurotransmitter levels were completely out of whack.
The doc suggested plenty of rest for 2 weeks, also suggested I take freshly ground flax seed and otc supplement called 5-HTP. About 2 weeks later…..BAM!!!….I started feeling good, I was thinking positive thoughts, I could remember things, I didn’t feel disconnected with life anymore. I’ve now stopped taking the flax seed but continue to take 1 – 200mg of 5-HTP daily in the evenings with my meal. I will say when I first started the 5-HTP I was taking it just before going to bed but it seemed I stayed awake for a couple hours so I tweaked when I take it and it seems taking it with my evening meal is a good time. I’ve been on 5-HTP for 5 months now, no side effects, still making me feel good.
My neurotransmitter levels are normal now. If you decide to take 5-HTP, only take the 5-HTP alone. There are some 5-HTP that has Vitamin C, B-6, B-12 – don’t take those. Only 5-HTP.
Of course – do your own RESEARCH on 5-HTP. Certain drugs can not be combined with 5-HTP.
Google 5-HTP, DO YOUR RESEARCH, ASK YOUR DOCTOR. 5-HTP does not work QUICKLY, it will take about 5 days you to start feeling better.
I haven’t felt this great in years. Also, I’m off all the other drugs the other docs had me taking. I now only take my thyroid medicine in the morning and 5-HTP in the evening. I now swear by 5-HTP.
Good Luck and Good Health !!
